About The Role

• System design and implementation : Develop, design and implement automated technologies for the intra-logistics processes, including conveyor systems, automated guided vehicles (AGVs), Automated storing and retrievable systems (ASRS) and other robotic solutions, to enhance material handling efficiency.
• Warehouse layout and design : Optimize warehouse layout for an efficient space utilization, material flow and accessibility. Collaborate with the construction and facility teams for layout definition or modifications.
• Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including process, installation, maintenance and facility to ensure effective communication and coordination during the installation and commissioning of logistics equipment.
• Safety compliance : Ensure that all logistics activities comply with health and safety regulations. Implement safety measures to protect both personnel and assets.
• Documentation : Create and maintain accurate documentation of intra-logistics processes, system configurations, and improvements made for reference and future analysis.
• Operational instructions : Create clear and concise documentation of processes and procedures.
• Regular alignment with the Headquarters in Salzgitter and cell plants (e.g. Salzgitter, Dalian, St. Thomas (Canada), etc.)
• Coordination and working together with different department like HSE, HR, finance, purchasing, construction, manufacturing, quality, logistic, technic areas, legal from the requirement site as well for permission or legal requirement or contractual points.
