We are hiring on behalf of a fast-growing medtech company specializing in innovative insulin pump solutions. With a clear ambition to become the #1 supplier of insulin pumps in Spain, the company is investing heavily in market expansion and brand leadership. To support this vision, we are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Marketing – Spain to lead all marketing efforts in the country.
Note : People outside of the diabetes market will not be screened or progressed
Position Overview
This role is a key leadership position responsible for defining and executing the national marketing strategy. You’ll drive growth, visibility, and engagement across multiple channels — including digital, social media, HCP marketing, and patient outreach — helping position the company as the leading diabetes technology brand in the Spanish market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the end-to-end marketing strategy to establish market leadership in Spain. - Drive brand growth through integrated campaigns, including social media, digital marketing, events, and public relations. - Manage and grow the company’s local social media presence to drive awareness, trust, and engagement. - Plan and execute product launches with tailored go-to-market strategies, competitive positioning, and value messaging. - Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs), KOLs, and patient advocacy groups. - Lead the creation of compelling, compliant marketing content for patients and HCPs. - Oversee the local marketing team and collaborate with global functions (Sales, Medical, Regulatory, etc.). - Analyse marketing KPIs and ROI to guide continuous optimization. - Ensure all marketing activity adheres to local compliance and healthcare promotion guidelines.
Candidate Requirements
8+ years of healthcare marketing experience, ideally in diabetes care, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals. - Strong track record of success in digital and social media marketing, campaign planning, and brand building. - At least 3 years of experience in a senior or director-level marketing role. - Solid understanding of the Spanish healthcare ecosystem and reimbursement pathways. - Fluent in Spanish and English, with excellent communication and leadership skills. - Degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or related field; MBA preferred.What We're Looking For
