This role is full-time and offers home working flexibility.

Areas of responsibility

Acting as a team leader for individual contributors (QA and Software engineers);

Being responsible for the team's direction, performance and outcomes;

People and skills management;

Fostering and advocating for Lean-Agile ways of working;

Being Lean-Agile change agent;

Ensuring the product's technical excellence;

Software and solution architecture;

Recruitment and retention;

Onboarding and training;

Ensuring effective collaboration and communication with related functions

Your future tasks will include

Hiring, mentoring, and managing performance within the team;

Continuously improve delivery flow by advocating and implementing Lean-Agile practices;

Monitoring and analyzing team performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement;

Providing regular reporting and metrics to the Head of Development to enable effective decision-making;

Collaborating with the Head of Development, your peers and Principal Engineer to align technical and product strategies;

Overseeing the technical and architectural design processes;

Overseeing the technical strategy implementation;

Tracking the system performance according to Non-Functional requirements and ensuring adherence;

Leading internal functional and cross-functional projects to optimize the development process.

You're going to need this to be successful in this role

Highly self-motivated and results-oriented team player;

7+ years of experience in software development, QA or related areas, with at least 3 years in a leadership position (Team Lead or Engineering Manager);

Experience in people management and leading remote, cross-functional teams;

Good understanding of software development processes, including frontend and backend development, software testing, and CI / CD;

Designing and implementing software solutions;

Good understanding of the principles of building a reliable architecture;

Experience with software development tools such as Git, Jira, and Confluence;

Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure;

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;

Advanced level of English

It's nice if you also have

Experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework);

DevOps mindset;

Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker;

Development experience in different programming languages
