As Country Manager Iberia (m / f / d) , you will lead our operations across the region, acting as the local ambassador of our business, values, and culture. You will ensure the successful delivery of the business plan by identifying growth opportunities and developing strategies that increase market share and profitability, while creating alignment across departments, teams, and reporting lines.
This position will be based in our Sales Office in Madrid (Spain).
What you will do
As Country Manager Iberia (m / f / d) , you will be responsible for leading the local sales organization and ensuring the achievement of business objectives. This includes managing and developing the team, driving financial and commercial performance, and implementing effective sales practices. Key responsibilities include :
- Deliver the regional business plan and drive financial performance aligned with global strategy
- Analyze market trends and business performance to identify growth opportunities and maximize margins
- Lead, manage, and motivate the local team to meet business and customer objectives
- Develop and implement high-impact sales management practices and performance standards
- Set ambitious and motivating goals for the sales team, supporting their achievement through effective leadership
- Drive account management excellence and actively develop new business at strategic target accounts
- Ensure the region has the right talent and capabilities to meet current and future business needs
- Develop annual budgets and operating plans in line with branch profit, marketing goals, and forecasts
- Monitor and manage individual and team performance; implement changes to improve team effectiveness as needed
- Maintain open, effective communication across all levels of the organization
- Act as a cultural role model, reinforcing company values and behaviors in day-to-day operations
- Coordinate and support cross-functional initiatives (HR, Compliance, IT, etc.), even outside direct reporting lines
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all employees in the region, promoting a positive and inclusive environment
- Collaborate closely with headquarters to align local operations with corporate direction
- Monitor and enhance employee engagement and well-being in cooperation with HR and functional teams
- Represent the company in senior internal and external stakeholder engagements, including executive presentations
What makes you a good fit
University degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or Engineering; MBA or dual education preferredProven work experience in sales or general management roles with managing sales teams, ideally in an international matrix organizationExcellent leadership and people management skills across multiple departments with a passion for developing othersProven track record in delivering sales growth and meeting financial targetsStrong commercial acumen, strategic thinking and analytical abilityExceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to different audiencesStrong influencing skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authorityHigh level of emotional intelligence, resilience, and adaptabilityComfortable leading through change and ambiguityWillingness to travel up to 50% of the working timeFluent in English and Spanish; Portuguese is a plusWhat we offer you
