Europe (preferred – Amsterdam, Spain, Italy, or France) / India (for strong candidates with European market connects)

Role Overview

We are seeking a senior professional to lead Business Development for the European market in the textiles and garments B2B segment . The role involves driving strategic client acquisition across leading European brands and building long-term partnerships to facilitate manufacturing in India .

This position is a high-priority leadership hire and will play a key role in shaping our international business growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Client Acquisition
  • Drive new business growth in the European market by acquiring key B2B clients across textiles and garments.
  • Leverage existing networks and build new connects with leading European brands .
  • Position India as a manufacturing hub for European clients, creating mutually beneficial business opportunities.
  • Market Expansion & Strategy
  • Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for Europe in alignment with business goals.
  • Build strong relationships with CXOs, sourcing heads, and procurement leaders across targeted geographies.
  • Provide market intelligence, competitor benchmarking, and insights on European sourcing trends.
  • Global Collaboration & Leadership
  • Work closely with leadership teams in India and Europe to align on business objectives.
  • Represent the company at industry forums, trade fairs, and exhibitions across Europe.
  • Contribute to shaping the European office location and structure as the business expands.
  • Key Requirements

  • Experience :
  • 8–15+ years of experience in B2B business development in textiles / garments , preferably with European market exposure.
  • Strong preference for candidates already based in Europe with established industry connects.
  • Open to Indian nationals managing European markets from India, provided they have proven success and client relationships.
  • Skills & Competencies :
  • Strong network with European brands in textiles / garments .
  • Deep understanding of international trade dynamics, outsourcing, and supply chain models.
  • Ability to negotiate and close high-value contracts.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and cross-cultural management skills.
