Your mission :

You will craft and serve high-quality coffee and food in our soon-to-open Flagship Store on Velázquez Street (Madrid) — turning every cup into a small work of art and making the customer journey a full-sensory experience. You’ll also play a key role in connecting with our community and supporting in-store events that bring the HOFF spirit to life.

Main Responsibilities of a Barista

Beverage preparation : Craft coffee, tea, infusions, and other drinks following recipes and quality standards.

Customer service : Provide friendly, attentive, and personalized service, answering questions and making product recommendations.

Order management : Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Bar maintenance : Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with hygiene standards.

Machine operation : Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other related equipment.

Inventory control : Monitor and restock supplies (coffee, milk, syrups, utensils, etc.), reporting stock needs.

Compliance : Follow safety, hygiene, and food handling protocols.

Cashier support : Process payments, handle cash or card transactions, and ensure accurate cash balancing.

Teamwork : Collaborate with colleagues in the kitchen, service, and management to ensure smooth operations.

Product knowledge : Share the story, origin, and characteristics of coffees and products offered to enhance the customer experience.

Interested? Here's the kind of profile we're looking for

• Proven experience as a barista, passionate about speciality coffee .
• We are international! Our customers are both local and global, so you’ll need a high level of conversational Spanish & English. Knowledge of Chinese and Arabic will be highly valued.
• Background or knowledge in premium hospitality or lifestyle retail.
• Open, proactive, empathetic, and solution-oriented attitude.
• Strong team player with the ability to independently manage your area.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and with a strong sense of aesthetics.
• Experience in retail events or activations is a plus.
