The Opportunity
Our client is seeking an ambitious Country Manager to spearhead their expansion into the Spanish market from their new base in Madrid. This is a unique opportunity to take on significant responsibility within a FTSE250 business that has established itself as a global leader in FX and payments.
With over 15 years of rapid growth, scaling from 5 to 500+ employees worldwide, the business is now investing heavily in Spain - this role will be pivotal in shaping the success of that expansion. You'll be leading the charge : playing a key part in the commercial strategy, building and scaling a local team and driving revenue growth in a new and exciting market.
This is a role for someone with proven experience in FX and payments, combined with the leadership skills to build high-performing teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
About You
- Relevant experience in FX and payments is essential
- Experience in the institutional or private makers would be highly favourable
- Proven track record of building and leading sales teams in a high-growth setting
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset
- Ability to design and execute go-to-market plans in a new territory
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Spanish with fluency in English is essential
