Talent On Board Srl is looking for, on behalf of a leading European company specializing in structural reinforcement solutions and part of an international industrial group, a Country Manager for the spainish site (location : Madrid area) .
The figure will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the company within a specific country / area. This includes managing the local team, developing and implementing strategies to increase market share and ensuring the company meets its financial and operational goals. Additionally, he / she will act as the legal representative of the company in the country, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations and as the primary point of contact for all business activities in the country and plays a key role in shaping the company’s presence and growth in the region / country / area.
Key responsibilities
- Strategic Planning : Develop and execute local business strategies aligned with global objectives, based on market research and performance monitoring.
- Team Management : Lead, motivate, and align the local team with company goals.
- Operational Oversight : Ensure smooth operations, track KPIs, and maintain compliance with local regulations.
- Sales & Marketing : Drive sales growth and market expansion, maintain key relationships, and promote brand visibility.
- Financial Management : Prepare and manage budgets and P&L, monitor financial performance, optimize costs, and ensure profitability.
- Business Development : Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships, develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and represent the company at industry events.
- Legal Representation : Serve as the company’s legal representative in the country, liaise with legal counsel and authorities, and ensure full compliance with local laws and regulations.
Professional Experience / Qualifications
Background : Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or engineering or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.Previous experience : Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a senior management role, preferably within the industry sector. Proven track record of success in managing operations and driving business growthSkills : Financial acumen and budget management experience, in-depth knowledge of the local market and business environment, Self-starter who demonstrates creativity in solving problems or generating improvement ideas, Able to prioritize competing or conflicting requests, Must exhibit strong communication skills, negotiation and interpersonal skills, Supports and maintains positive attitude and vision with peers, associates, team members and management, Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality serviceLanguages : Fluent in English (Portuguese and Spanish are a plus)Availability : Monday-Friday full time role, willingness to travel (up to 25%)What we offer
