The Position

As part of Roche Informatics’ Data Advisory & Insights team, the Data and Analytics Specialist will build and maintain trusting, working relationships with business stakeholders in a cross functional environment, understanding the analytic needs of the domain, and working in an agile product team setting fulfilling those needs. You are an experienced analytics professional with a proven track record of understanding the true needs of the business stakeholder and how to leverage data / analytic skills and partnerships to fulfill those needs. You are a team player contributing to an agile team focused on data product delivery. You are also comfortable with ambiguity, and able to thrive with minimal oversight and process.

The Opportunity :

• Transforming, testing, visualizing and documenting analytic data products
• Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Collaborate cross-functionally with data & insights peers and business stakeholders to discover high impact opportunities and deliver robust solutions to enable self-service analytics
• Understand where various opportunities fit into the broader strategies and prioritize competing demands to ensure the most impactful items are delivered
• Participate as a data analyst in an agile team to deliver analytics to the business stakeholders as well as participate in user discovery sessions, iterative refinement cycles with technical team and sprint planning
• Develop high-impact data layers, user interfaces and other tools to enable self-service analytics
• Provide product ownership of data products and analytical solutions
