Business Development Manager - Barcelona (Spanish Speaker) - EV Charging - Hybrid - DOE + Benefits

Location : Barcelona (Hybrid Work Model)

Languages : Spanish & Fluent English

Salary : DOE & Benefits

The Opportunity

An innovative and fast-scaling company in the electric vehicle (EV) charging space is seeking a Business Development Manager to spearhead growth in the Spanish market. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the clean energy transition while working in a flexible hybrid setup from Barcelona.

The company provides smart EV charging solutions that enable customers to optimize energy usage, lower emissions, and access cleaner transportation.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop new business opportunities with installers, distributors, and mobility partners in Spain
  • Manage the complete B2B sales cycle-from lead generation to closing deals
  • Achieve revenue targets across both hardware and recurring software services
  • Identify and execute cross-sell and upsell opportunities within your client base
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings
  • Stay current with industry trends and competitor activities to shape go-to-market strategy
  • Share customer insights with internal teams to help improve offerings

Candidate Profile

Required :

  • Solid background in B2B sales or business development, ideally within EV, clean tech, or energy sectors
  • Proven success managing sales pipelines and meeting commercial goals
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships
  • Ability to explain technical products in an accessible and engaging way
  • Native-level Spanish and fluent English
  • Based in or near Barcelona, with openness to a hybrid work model
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and digital sales tools
  • Nice to Have :

  • Genuine passion for sustainability and the EV industry
  • Experience working with installer networks or distribution partners in Spain
