APAC MARKET ACCESS POLICY DIRECTOR

The APAC Market Access Policy Director plays a crucial role in shaping market access policy related to evolving healthcare systems to ensure support of innovation and patient access to sustainable, high-quality health care. The role involves supporting local policy teams in driving the policy debate via aligned industry activities through collaboration with local, regional and global stakeholders both internally and externally as well as monitoring, analysis and inclusion of environmental trends into business cycle considerations.
Job Description :
In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and updating the APAC Leadership Team on key political and healthcare policy trends that affect J&J's business. You will also support J&J IM AP Company Group Chair for external outreach in Singapore. Your responsibilities will include :
Qualifications EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :
University degree in commerce, economics, MBA, international trade and / or political science.
Meaningful knowledge of the political & healthcare environment within multiple markets in Asia Pacific.
10+ years experience in health care policy within industry, trade associations and / or government preferred but relevant experience considered.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Well-developed presentation skills.
Ability to manage complexity in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Ability to think critically, innovatively and have a strong business acumen.
Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to partner effectively across an organization and externally to customers, suppliers, etc.
Proven ability to influence at the senior level.
Ability to communicate complex messages to a diverse audience.
Ability to develop and nurture new networks of stakeholders and channels.
