Your tasks

  • You are the all-round happy package for our requirements in the BI and DWH environment : you analyze, design and implement every necessary detail and thus ensure that our data environments are fit for the future.
  • You also scrutinize our data management processes down to the smallest detail, improving them where possible and devising innovative new approaches where necessary so that we can not only collect data, but also use it effectively.
  • Of course, you'll also be at the forefront of the incident, change and problem process, carefully mitigating challenges big and small.
  • And to ensure that the status quo is just a stopover for you and us, you are constantly looking for new features and technologies, evaluating them carefully and using them to improve "your" processes.

Your profile

  • Degree with a focus on (business) informatics or comparable training in the IT environment
  • Experience with database and procedural programming languages, such as Python, Java, and with (non-)relational DBMSs
  • Knowledge of data warehouse architectures, technologies and implementations, the required tools (e.g. IBM Data Stage, SAP PowerDesigner) and data modeling
  • Know-how in modern data architectures, dbt, cloud technologies (e.g. BigQuery, Snowflake) as well as a workflow management tool (e.g. Automic) and Apache Spark
  • Practice in dealing with and applying project management methods and agile approaches (Scrum)
  • Proactive, reliable, systematic, independent way of working and analytical mindset
  • Good communication skills and enjoy working in a team
  • An innovative spirit and a sense for sustainable solutions
  • Fluent in written and spoken German and English
