US GAAP Accountant – Relocation to Madrid
Join our growing international accounting team in Madrid! We are looking for an experienced Accountant with strong US GAAP expertise to manage key accounting projects and ensure high-quality financial reporting for our global clients.
You will work in a dynamic, collaborative environment and play a critical role in delivering accurate financial statements while utilizing the latest Microsoft BC ERP tools and automation solutions.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver financial statements and reports in compliance with US GAAP.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records, including reconciliations and journal entries.
- Ensure compliance with local and US accounting and tax standards.
- Plan deliverables and organize tasks effectively across projects.
- Support audit processes by preparing and submitting relevant documentation.
- Work with Microsoft Business Central (BC) and contribute to process improvement and automation.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.5–7 years of experience in a professional services firm or multinational environment.In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and local accounting / tax regulations.Experience in preparing financial statements and client reports.Familiarity with Microsoft BC (Business Central ERP) is a plus.Fluent English (C1 or higher) is required.Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Client-focused mindset with a drive to deliver excellent service.What We Offer
