About You and This Role

Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) generate opportunities through inbound and outbound communication. They research and identify prospects, follow up on inbound inquiries, and connect via email, calls, and social outreach. Their goal is to qualify and convert leads quickly, supporting sales growth and brand awareness.

Job Responsibilities

  • Increase Liferay brand awareness in Spain and Portugal
  • Partner with Account Executives to demonstrate Liferay’s value through outbound prospecting
  • Identify new business opportunities via events, social media, trade shows, etc., supporting marketing ROI
  • Proactively contact potential clients to educate them about our offerings and build a sales pipeline
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to improve lead quality and conversion
  • Engage in high-level conversations with senior executives
  • Develop product knowledge
  • Assist in designing and executing outbound strategies
  • Meet monthly / quarterly activity and lead generation targets
  • Adopt and maintain high sales standards
  • Support scheduling of sales appointments
  • Perform other duties as the role evolves

Skill Preferences

  • Fluent in Spanish and English; additional languages like Italian are a plus
  • Self-motivated with a drive to succeed
  • Experience in high-volume sales environments preferred
  • Results-oriented with strong prospecting skills
  • Attention to detail and accurate database management
  • Excellent communication skills adaptable to different audiences
  • Industry experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Familiarity with platforms like Salesforce, Salesloft, Sales Navigator is a plus
