What You’ll Be Doing

As a Cloud Engineer specializing in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), you will take a hands-on approach to designing, developing, and deploying innovative cloud solutions.

Your primary focus will be on technical implementation, but you will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the solutions you build align seamlessly with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Design and Develop GCP Solutions : Create and implement bespoke cloud solutions tailored to address specific client challenges and requirements
Leverage GCP Data Services : Apply solid expertise in Google Cloud data services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Dataproc to build effective and efficient data pipelines
Optimize Performance : Use tools like Python, Git, Terraform, and Docker to enhance the performance, scalability, and reliability of applications and infrastructure
Implement DevOps Best Practices : Integrate DevOps methodologies to streamline CI / CD pipelines, improve deployment processes, and establish robust monitoring frameworks
Collaborate Across Teams : Partner with consultants, developers, and cross-functional teams to ensure technical implementations align with strategic business goals
Stay Current with Technology : Continuously update your knowledge on the latest Google Cloud advancements, industry trends, and best practices to deliver state-of-the-art solutions.

What We’re Looking For

Proven Expertise in GCP : At least 5 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, deploying, and managing scalable and reliable Google Cloud architectures

Comprehensive GCP Knowledge : Proficiency with core Google Cloud services, including BigQuery, Firestore, DataForm, Cloud Composer, Google Data Flow, and Google Cloud Run

Governance and Security Expertise : Strong understanding of governance models, security best practices, and policies specific to GCP environments

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Experience with automation tools like Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager for managing infrastructure

CI / CD Experience : Familiarity with CI / CD tools on GCP, such as Cloud Build, Cloud Deploy, or integrations with third-party systems

Programming Skills : Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language, preferably Python

Database Expertise : Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases for handling diverse data requirements

Growth Mindset : A coachable attitude with a willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in a dynamic tech environment

Collaboration and Communication : Strong collaboration and communication skills, enabling seamless interaction with diverse teams and stakeholders

Language Proficiency : Fluent in English, both written and spoken
