PhD Position in Peptide Assemblies : The Centro de Física de Materiales (CFM), San Sebastian, Spain, is offering a 3-year funded PhD position within the JAE-PRE program. This research focuses on the development of short peptide co-assemblers to optimize supramolecular peptide assemblies (SPAs) for applications such as tissue regeneration and catalysis. Job Description

The successful candidate will contribute to a multidisciplinary project at the intersection of computational chemistry, structural biochemistry, and material sciences. The project aims to design and optimize supramolecular peptide assemblies (SPAs) for applications in tissue regeneration, using a combination of experimental and computational approaches. Responsibilities include :

Developing a deep understanding of intermolecular interactions and supramolecular self-assembly

Utilizing spectroscopy, microscopy, and material characterization techniques

Actively engaging in creative research directions

Attending international workshops, conferences, and training programs

Dr. Sasselli will provide close supervision and guidance throughout the project, with a structured plan to track progress and develop independent research skills.
