PhD Position in Peptide Assemblies : The Centro de Física de Materiales (CFM), San Sebastian, Spain, is offering a 3-year funded PhD position within the JAE-PRE program. Job Description

The successful candidate will contribute to a multidisciplinary project at the intersection of computational chemistry, structural biochemistry, and material sciences. The project aims to design and optimize supramolecular peptide assemblies (SPAs) for applications in tissue regeneration, using a combination of experimental and computational approaches. Responsibilities include :

  • Developing a deep understanding of intermolecular interactions and supramolecular self-assembly
  • Utilizing spectroscopy, microscopy, and material characterization techniques
  • Actively engaging in creative research directions
  • Attending international workshops, conferences, and training programs
  • Dr. Sasselli will provide close supervision and guidance throughout the project, with a structured plan to track progress and develop independent research skills.
