General Responsibility

The SAP DataSphere Expert, reporting under our Data Platform Lead, is responsible of leading the design, development, and implementation of data products solutions in Data Sphere, under an hybrid data architecture of SAP DataSphere and Snowflake under AWS.

This role entails ensuring seamless integration, data quality, and effective utilization of data for business insights and decision-making. The SAP DataSphere Expert will work collaboratively across various departments to align data strategies with business goals facilitating the effective use of data across the organization.

The SAP DataSphere Expert needs to have experience working with SAP systems as the main source systems (i.e. ECC; S / 4Hana, IBP, PPDS, SucessFactors). Therefore, knowledge of SAP DataSphere and its related skills, such as BW for HANA, is essential.

Experience in the pharmaceutical industry and familiarity with key processes in manufacturing and distribution within the pharma business will be a plus

The candidate will be expected to collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and drive data related projects around the SAP technology working with SAP teams in the different modules (FI-CO, SD, MM, PP, PM..) and global requirements.

It will support the development and implementation of an enterprise-wide data platform and design and implement data assets to facilitate data-driven decision making.

Specific Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of data products solutions in Data Sphere under a hybrid data architecture with SAP DataSphere and Snowflake under AWS.
• Ensure data quality and integrity across all data SAP sources (ECC; S / 4 HANA, IBP, SuccessFactors..) under SAP DataSphere
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Supply, IT, Commercial, and Customer Service, to define project requirements and deliver data-related projects.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
• Manage data acquisition processes and model data within SAP Data Sphere
• Ensure robust data governance, security, and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Develop and implement data quality rules.
• Support the creation and management of business glossaries, master data policies, and data lifecycle policies.
• Provide strategic advice on data-related projects and initiatives and promote a data-driven culture through training and evangelization efforts within the organization.
• Utilize tools such as Power BI for developing data visualization dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in data management and cloud technologies.
