At Amazon, we're seeking a Product Operations Manager to lead our VAT Transactions Report (AVTR) team, a crucial system that handles billions of transactions for Amazon's European marketplace sellers. AVTR is essential for our sellers' VAT compliance across the EU, providing accurate and timely transaction data that enables them to meet their tax obligations effectively.As the Product Operations Manager for AVTR, you'll drive operational excellence in our VAT reporting systems, ensuring seamless delivery of transaction data to hundreds of thousands of sellers. You'll collaborate with tax teams, engineers, and business stakeholders to optimize reporting processes, implement new VAT requirements across different EU jurisdictions, and enhance the overall seller experience. Your role will be critical in maintaining high data accuracy, improving processing times, and developing scalable solutions as transaction volumes grow.We're looking for someone with strong product or program management experience, preferably with background in financial systems or tax reporting. Understanding of EU VAT regulations and marketplace operations is a plus.
