Job Purpose

We are looking for an Indirect Tax Analyst who will report and work closely with the European Tax Manager, partnering with Local Finance teams across Europe on daily VAT related tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely and accurate filings of all VAT returns and payment due dates.
  • Gather necessary data for VAT compliance and carefully analyze it.
  • Perform monthly VAT checks / reconciliations to ensure quality of tax data provided to indirect tax advisors.
  • Proactively monitor the indirect tax compliance for the entities within Europe.
  • Assist in tax audits and requirements from tax authorities by compiling and preparing requested information.
  • Solve day-to-day indirect tax queries and doubts arising in business operations.
  • Contribute to improve indirect tax processes and automation.
  • Closely interact and provide support to different stakeholders on VAT issues.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 2-3 years of solid experience in a similar role or in a Big4 or Law firm.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Tax Law.
  • Knowledge in European indirect taxes and regulations.
  • Fluent in English (speaking and writing); French would be an advantage.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Used to working with tight deadlines.
  • High organizational capability.
  • Ability to take ownership and work independently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, motivation, agility, and proactiveness.
