We're looking to add a new node, a new employee, to our cluster, focusing on driving core messaging and go-to-market (GTM) programs for Security. This PMM will be responsible for product marketing for the SIEM and security analytics opportunities, including messaging and positioning, content creation, campaign support, and field enablement. You will work closely with Elastic product managers, salespeople, and partners across marketing to align and communicate Elastic's vision across markets, users, prospects, customers, and partners, generating awareness, demand, and market leadership for Elastic in Security.
What You Will Be Doing :
- Identifies market opportunities, gaps, and narratives around SIEM and security analytics trends and core technology innovations.
- Helps carry out company and solution-wide product launches – from planning initiatives to tracking progress and measuring results.
- Understands the process and research required to develop outcome-based and use case-based messaging and content aligned with our corporate messaging and solution personas, and in support of our search solution and industries teams.
- Brings leadership and collaboration skills, and interfaces effectively with Product, Sales, and Marketing.
- Deeply understands target personas and segments, how customers buy and users adopt our products for SIEM and security analytics, and the value they derive from them.
- Develops messaging for various target audiences, including analysts, and IT and business decision-makers, that can be adapted across multiple channels (e.g., social, web, events).
- Clearly articulates Elastic's market position and differentiation.
- Crafts and delivers compelling and strategically relevant sales enablement content.
- Represents Elastic at conferences, community and customer events, webinars, and other demand gen opportunities.
What You Will Bring :
Experience leading outbound product initiatives focused on new, groundbreaking technology and / or enterprise customers with complex requirements.Experience in product marketing collaboration with other functions across marketing, sales, and partner organizations.Creative energy, out-of-the-box thinking, and a track record of generating customer-centric campaigns that impact the company's bottom-line.An execution-oriented approach. Comfortable balancing multiple priorities with a performance history of staying organized.Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
