The Information Technology team is seeking a Cybersecurity Technician to provide both technical and compliance support to students, faculty, contractors, and staff. This role involves resolving technical issues, maintaining the security of company equipment and servers, and ensuring compliance with privacy and data protection regulations such as GDPR and ISO 27701.
Responsibilities
Your role as Cybersecurity Technician will involve :
Provide support in resolving technical incidents and inquiries related to information security.
Implement and monitor policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GDPR, ISO 27701, and other privacy regulations.
Assist in the installation and configuration of security devices and software, ensuring alignment with current regulations.
Qualifications
To thrive in this role, you should have :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in information security departments, preferably in technology companies or consulting firms.
Understanding of network systems, servers, and communication protocols.
In-depth knowledge of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and its practical application.
Ability to develop and execute security and privacy training programs.
