The role of a Communications Officer is pivotal in supporting the implementation of strategic communications and outreach plans. This position plays a key part in promoting Club de Madrid's activities, programs, and initiatives to various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Social Media Management :
- Develop and implement social media content calendars to maintain a consistent online presence.
- Curate engaging content for various platforms, including Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, and Google Photos.
- Analyze engagement metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Media Relations :
- Craft and disseminate press releases, statements, and other communication packages to secure media coverage.
- Nurture relationships with journalists, influencers, and other media professionals.
- Monitor news relevant to Club de Madrid's work and create clipping reports.
- Outreach and Development Support :
- Design and publish newsletters, invitations, outputs, advocacy materials, and reports to promote Club de Madrid's activities.
- Implement communication-related tasks for programmatic, outreach, and development activities.
- Support the design of communication strategies for specific projects and activities.
- Other Responsibilities :
- Contribute to the development of innovative communications solutions.
- Update institutional brochures and materials, such as the newsletter and Secretary General Update.
- Explore the application of AI tools to enhance communication methods and procedures.
