About the job

The Manager Program Manager GLOBAL LOGISTICS TRANSFORMATION is a key resource to drive the success of the Global Logistics Strategy according to the “SIMPLE” winning plan. In this context the applicant will drive Global programs and projects of high complexity and will autonomously ensure adherence to timeline cost and winning KPIs. The Manager will build up core teams between 5 and 15 people and drive different projects with a global scope coming together in the program. Strong logistics knowledge, leadership and interpersonal skills will be needed to be successful in this role. All projects in this scope require a strong transversal collaboration with other functions and the applicant is expected to understand Requirements within the bigger SANOFI picture accordingly.

Key Accountabilities

Global Transportation / Live Temperature Tracking and process automation :

Stream 1 : Proactive Temperature Excursion avoidance :

Map logistics requirements and legacy spend for Temperature Tracking

Build business case and get buy in for project launch

As-is assessment and analysis of the different ways of Temperature Tracking and the articulation with quality and digital

Design To-Be processes and solution in a transversal project with other functions

Define Quick wins and long term implementation plan

Execute project on time and cost to achieve winning KPIs

Stream 2 : Automated Quality release :

Analysis of As-is processes for Quality release between Logistics and Quality

Build business case and get buy in for project launch

Design To-Be processes and solution with Digital and Quality collaboration

Define Quick wins and long term implementation plan

Execute project on time and cost to achieve winning KPIs

Stream 3 : Automated Customer Service Processes for investigation and claims avoidance

Map Quality issues and complaints

Build business case and get buy in for project launch

As-is assessment and analysis of the different ways of Temperature Tracking and the articulation with quality and digital

Design To-Be processes and solution in a transversal project with other functions

Define Quick wins and long term implementation plan

Execute project on time and cost to achieve winning KPIs

Stream 4 : Geo location for track and trace automation

Map Transportation volume, shipments and flows

Assess current track and trace processes and Milestone accuracy

Build business case and get buy in for project launch

As-is assessment and analysis of the different ways of Temperature Tracking and the articulation with quality and digital

Design To-Be processes and solution in a transversal project with other functions

Define Quick wins and long term implementation plan

About you

Skills / Expertise / Experience :

Broad experience in Global Logistics : Proven experience in leading global logistics projects and programs, ideally within a highly regulated industry such as pharmaceuticals, life sciences, or healthcare. 15 – 20 years experience in different areas of the end to end logistics process proving a thorough understanding of value drivers and influence factors to drive modernization.

Project and Program Management : 5-10 years experience in driving large Transformation projects within the supply chain and more specifically logistics area. Proven track of highly complex projects covering all stages from initial assessment over business case to design and implementation.

Leadership in transversal environment : Strong leadership skills and experience to work in a highly diverse business environment. Experience in managing different type of stakeholders from operator to senior executive level in different functions around supply chain. Result oriented “driver” mentality with strong communication skills.

Analytical skillset : Long year experience in analysis of extensive amounts of data towards data driven decision making. Advanced excel skills and the ability to transform insight from data analytics into the solution. Strong focus on KPIs and the need of exceeding objectives on project level.

Preferred Skills / Expertise / Experience :

Advanced Education : An MBA or master’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.

Digital Architecture : Experience implementing and leveraging digital tools for Logistics management, such as TMS or WMS, route optimization software, and real-time tracking tools. Knowledge of emerging technologies in the transportation space, including AI-driven analytics and predictive tools for decision-making and optimization.

Cultural Competence and Global Mindset : A global mindset, with experience managing and leading cross-cultural teams in multiple regions. Ability to navigate complex regulatory, operational, and cultural landscapes across diverse markets.

Languages : Fluent spoken and written English
