The Opportunity

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Manufacturing Project Engineer. This role focuses on various improvement projects. Responsibilities include managing projects and working independently with limited supervision. Reports to Production Manager.

We are hiring an enthusiastic and motivated professional to join our team at Tank Shop in Galindo. In this role, you will be part of the Tank manufacturing team, where you will be in charge of various improvement projects for production. A good technical analysis of the tank manufacturing process, correct response to the needs of the production team, and coordination with other departments will be essential for this job. How you’ll make an impact

• You will pursue initiatives to improve the effectiveness of production through various improvement and investment projects.
• Follow up closely on all improvement projects, measuring quality, cost, delivery, and safety.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with the ability to successfully multi-task and meet deadlines and project demands with a sense of urgency.
• Communicate effectively and work collaboratively across all levels of the organization.
• Critical thinker with strong influencing skills, self-aware and open to feedback.
• Continuous improvement mindset.
• Supplier management.
• Managing improvement projects in manufacturing, including different project stakeholders.
