Job Description
The core focus of the Procurement Manager will be to maximise value for money through the Procurement process by identifying and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives to improve the design and competitiveness of our products. You will be working as part of a team to manage the supply chain in relation to Cost, Quality, Delivery and Improvements.
Key responsibilities include :
- Building relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure the delivery of the best value for money.
- Building and implementing a tender process to get new suppliers on board.
- Regulating and managing suppliers, using strategic knowledge and negotiation skills to deliver solutions within budget.
- Monitoring and developing the procurement process :
- Responsible for the management of the procurement of bought out materials.
- Ensure that bought out materials meet specification, delivery and quality requirements.
- Identify supply chain risks and introduce necessary risk mitigation.
