Director of Operations

We are seeking an experienced Director of Operations to join the team at an internationally branded hotel in the vibrant city of Barcelona.

The main purpose of the role will be to assist the hotel General Manager in the administration of the hotel by directing staff efforts toward customer satisfaction, team member productivity, and hotel profitability.

Primary focuses are service quality, operational efficiency, brand standards, and guest satisfaction. Key Skills :

• High School graduate or equivalent required. Four-year college degree preferred.
• Minimum ten years hotel experience required including seven years of supervisory experience.
• Must have previously held an Executive Committee position.
• Considerable knowledge in all areas of hotel management.
• Significant experience and knowledge of Food and Beverage.
• Managerial skills and decision making.
• Ability to meet deadlines, negotiate contracts with vendors, initiate, complete, and finish tasks and projects.
• Good analytical, numerical, and planning skills.
• Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
