Role summary :

This role acts as a business compliance officer, supporting the Netherlands jurisdiction and

is responsible for carrying out day-to-day compliance work for the business taking into account local regulatory requirements.

The Business Compliance Officer will act as the intermediary between the Client teams and the Compliance department and will take responsibility for the teams in relation to the follow-up and quality of the compliance information delivered to the Compliance Department (second line of defence).

The Business Compliance Officer forms part of the first line of defence within Link and will report to the Managing Director / Business Head.

Competently carrying out its duties in a professional manner and in accordance with regulatory requirements, service levels and company standards to meet the business expectations, with the support of other members of the team, when required.

Training on Dutch regulations (WTT, WWFT) together with support from Dutch local team will be provided.

Key responsibilities :

Department

• To set-up and monitor timelines for reviews and submissions to the Compliance department;
• To support the client teams with various types of reports and other documents;
• To monitor action points within the client teams and take care of follow-up whenever necessary;
• To draw up Client Acceptance Files and Reviews (in consultation with the Corporate Officer / Financial Officer responsible);
• To monitor the process for client acceptance and reviews, identify and mitigate compliance risks
• To follow up outstanding Compliance items (whether or not in consultation with the client);
• To enter outstanding items into Millogic system and keep Millogic up-to-date;
• To monitor filing by the client teams and check whether filing is up-to-date on a regular basis;
• To identify Feeders and update Feeder file;
• To inform the Compliance department about progress / compliance issues on a regular basis;
• To contribute to and monitor the maintenance of high-quality standards.
