We are X-ELIO , a Brookfield-owned company and a global leader in the renewable energy sector; with over 3 GW of renewable projects (solar / BESS) built, we currently operate in 12 countries and have a development pipeline of 12 GW of solar and 14 GW of BESS capacity. We are looking for you!

Reporting to : M&A Director

Location : Madrid, Spain

The selected professional will oversee M&A processes, evaluate opportunities, strategize sales, mentor the team, and resolve operational issues.

What will you do?

• Evaluate opportunities for mergers, acquisitions, alliances, and divestitures; oversee M&A project management processes including due diligence, financial planning, scoping, and closing; conduct financial modeling.
• Coordinate research and analysis activities required by C-suite executives and the Board to assess strategic alternatives, impact, and risk.
• Assist in strategizing sales processes, scrutinizing offers, and negotiating through to completion (with the assistance of the Head of M&A).
• Resolve escalated operational issues in coordination with other departments.
• Lead, develop, and mentor junior colleagues; share knowledge; and actively contribute to the growth and development of the M&A team, providing guidance and support.
