We are currently recruiting a Senior Payroll Coordinator for a temporary project of 5 to 6 months to support payroll and HR systems for the Spanish market.
This is a short-term assignment with full ownership of payroll processes and coordination with local and international teams.
The position is based in Barcelona (hybrid work model) and offers a gross annual salary between €44,000 and €45,000.
This is a hands-on and strategic role within the HR department, ideal for a payroll professional available for a limited-duration project who wants to contribute in a dynamic, structured, and international environment.
Main responsibilities : Manage the full monthly payroll cycle in coordination with external providers Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll data from store operations Oversee benefit administration and employee-related changes Maintain and update time and attendance systems Support audits, reporting and compliance with Spanish labor regulations Collaborate with EU payroll, HRIS and accounting teams Provide training and support to managers on payroll and HR systems Profile : 5–7 years of experience in payroll, HR administration and / or HRIS Strong knowledge of Spanish labor law and payroll regulations Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas) Fluent in English (B2–C1 level) Experience in retail or similar environments is a plus Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and team spirit Important : This is a temporary role of 5 to 6 months.
