What you bring
- Several years of payroll management or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of payroll best practices
- Proficient in using software tools like SAP, Excel / Google Sheets
- An analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment with a passion for making an impact
- Being a productivity enthusiast and constantly seeking ways to improve and speed up work processes
- Understanding the importance of working largely independently
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Experience working remotely is a plus but not required
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a subject matter expert for the Netherlands payroll processesManage existing relationships with key stakeholders within Payroll Implementation, Finance, Product, and Engineering teamsProcess full end-to-end payroll in-house, including statutory filings, exceptions, approvals, payments, and complianceEnsure full data integrity and qualityExperience in accounting and reconciliationsFocus on KPIs and SLAs to ensure performance standardsImplement and improve payroll processesMentor and support payroll specialistsProvide backup support to regional managers during absencesPracticals

Remote aims to ensure fair, unbiased compensation and competitive benefits across all locations. We pay above in-location rates to discourage cheap-labor practices and promote global talent-hiring. Our salary bands are broad and consider geographic pay differentials based on our global operations. The salary range for this position is from $33,300 to $74,850, depending on factors such as location, skills, experience, and market conditions. The actual salary will be determined accordingly and may be adjusted in the future.
