Right now we are looking for an Head of Sales to join our expanding team.

This is your chance to collaborate with industry giants like Uber Eats, Talabat, and Bolt Food , driving impactful sales of software, delivery gear products, and logistics solutions in a rapidly evolving sector. You will own complex, long-term sales cycles, engage with senior decision-makers, and secure high-value contracts that will shape the future of food delivery. Are you ready to make a difference?

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and Drive Sales at Boolanga : Own and drive the sales function at Boolanga, encompassing strategy and operations.
  • Sales Strategy Development : Create and implement a robust sales strategy to acquire key business accounts in the food delivery sector.
  • Manage Complex Sales Cycles : Drive complex sales cycles, driving high-value deals from prospecting through negotiation to closing.
  • Stakeholder Engagement : Build relationships with C-level and senior stakeholders at food delivery companies.
  • Get-Your-Hands-Dirty Approach : Adopt a hands-on approach, get deeply involved in operations related to sales projects, to tailor our products, leveraging our flexibility as a competitive advantage.
  • Sales Funnel Optimization : Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads and business opportunities through effective funnel management.
  • Client Onboarding Coordination : Ensure seamless project delivery, market launches and client onboarding, facilitating a smooth transition to the Account Management team when the operations are running.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with Operations, IT, and Account Management to deliver customized solutions for clients, while being actively involved in the launch of the operations.
  • Team Growth and Culture Shaping : Drive sales team growth as a people manager while fostering a high-performance, results-oriented culture.
  • Stay on the Pulse of Market Trends : Stay attuned to industry shifts and dynamically adapt sales strategies to stay ahead of market demands.
  • Market Positioning and Visibility Expansion : Strengthen Boolanga’s presence in the food delivery ecosystem while enhancing visibility on LinkedIn and at industry events, building relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strategic Reporting : Report directly to the Managing Director, delivering insights on sales performance and strategic direction, including pipeline analysis, win / loss assessments, performance reporting, and forecasting.

Skills & Requirements

  • Experience in Complex Sales : 3+ years in managing complex sales cycles within an international business environment.
  • Autonomy : Comfortable working independently with a hands-on approach.
  • Skills : Advanced communication, project management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Personality : Result-driven, proactive, and positive mindset.
  • Industry Knowledge : Experience in a relevant industry is a strong advantage.
