The UCAM-SENS unit is seeking a PhD student to join the European Project IRHIS (Interoperable Remote Health Innovation brought to Scale).
About UCAM-SENS
UCAM-SENS is a leading research unit dedicated to digital transformation in healthcare, sports, food, and environmental monitoring through advanced (bio)chemical sensing, combining electrochemistry and imaging technologies.
Led by Prof. María Cuartero (ERC Fellow) and Prof. Gaston Crespo, UCAM-SENS fosters cutting-edge research, education, innovation, and industrial partnerships, ensuring a real-world impact on society. The unit operates within HiTech, a research incubator and accelerator that promotes a multicultural and
multidisciplinary research environment.
PhD Research Focus
The selected PhD student will contribute to IRHIS, a large-scale European project with 20 partners, including top researchers, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders in remote healthcare and AI-driven innovation.
