Manager II Java Software Engineering

We are seeking a skilled Software Development Manager and Architect to join our team.

The Software Development Managers will be responsible for designing and implementing Java web-based applications, analyzing user requirements to inform application design, and creating architectural models that demonstrate the flow and functionality of applications.

Our ideal candidate is proficient with Java and its ecosystems, has a deep understanding of object-oriented programming, and is familiar with various design and architectural patterns.

As a JAVA Full Stack Lead Developer and Architect, you will not only design and develop cutting-edge web applications using the latest technologies but also lead and mentor a team of talented developers. You will be responsible for overseeing project delivery, ensuring quality standards, and collaborating with the existing offshore development team. Effective communication with clients and stakeholders, as well as providing technical guidance and support, will also be key responsibilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
• Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation
• Architect and design high-scale, robust, and cutting-edge applications
• Guide and provide technical leadership to the development team
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and software architecture in the Java landscape
• Design and develop both public web applications and line-of-business sites using the latest technologies
• Lead and mentor developers, oversee project delivery and quality standards
• Participate in coding tasks (minimum 50%), code reviews, testing, debugging, and deployment
• Set project vision and direction
• Manage team workload and performance
• Provide feedback, coaching, and resolve conflicts
• Manage interactions with third-party vendors, assess code quality and security
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, providing technical guidance as needed
