Job Description : Head of Consumer Finance for Residential Solar Market

Hanwha Energy Europe operates across three businesses within the renewable energy sector, and we are seeking to expand our market presence with this key position :

Position Overview

As the Head of Consumer Finance (Residential Solar), you will oversee consumer financing for residential solar projects in Spain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic and operational plans for residential solar consumer finance.
  • Take enterprise-wide ownership of financial and operational results, ensuring the achievement of key performance metrics.
  • Design consumer financing products, primarily 10 / 20-year solar loans.
  • Optimize performance across operations, technology, sales, risk management, compliance, and finance / capital marketing.
  • Ensure all activities comply with relevant regulations, consumer laws, and compliance standards.
  • Leverage market presence to create value across the retail and installation segments.
  • Provide comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for forecasting and analysis.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, finance, or related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in consumer financing, including a minimum of 5 years in leadership roles.
  • Experience in solar financing is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Deep knowledge of consumer finance operations, products, technology, capital markets, and risk management.
  • Extensive network for investor relations and sales channel development.
  • Proven experience with solar, consumer, and asset-backed financing models, including solar loans, leases, PPAs, and unsecured / collateralized loans.
