Senior Manager, Social Sustainability and Reporting

Responsibilities :

• Align Social Sustainability objectives, targets, and programs with corporate goals through cross-functional collaboration.
• Provide expertise on Social Sustainability issues, including risks during development, construction, operations, and maintenance of power plants.
• Serve as a Social Sustainability subject matter expert, focusing on community engagement, stakeholder relations, social investment, grievance mechanisms, cultural resources, DEI, human rights, and sustainability disclosures, emphasizing Just Transition principles.
• Develop and deliver Social Sustainability training and capacity-building initiatives.
• Establish global Social Sustainability metrics, targets, and governance, including incident reporting guidelines.
• Monitor trends, regulatory developments, and impacts related to Social Sustainability.
• Manage assurance processes for key Social Sustainability metrics and disclosures.
• Prepare accurate and transparent sustainability disclosures, ensuring compliance with relevant frameworks and standards such as CSRD, IFRS, SASB, GRI, TCFD, and IFC PS.
• Support risk assessments for growth opportunities, including business development and M&A activities.
• Improve Social Performance models and data management processes.
• Develop a 3-year Social Investment Road Map and tracking systems to ensure strategic execution.
• Assist in developing sustainable financing initiatives.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders, including sustainability ratings agencies, NGOs, and advocacy groups.
• Represent ContourGlobal’s Social Sustainability interests in industry associations, conferences, and partnerships.
• Support operational transitions aligned with decarbonization, including shared value creation, Just Transition, and conservation efforts.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships internally and externally to enhance Social Sustainability performance.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives, incentives, and support for major projects and operational improvements.
• Manage RFP processes, including scoping, consultant engagement, and budgeting.

Preferred Locations :

Madrid office preferred; other options include Houston, Sofia, Vienna, and Milan.
