Job summary

Sales Layer is a VC-backed (Series B) SaaS software that automates the complexity around Product Information Management (PIM). With steady YoY growth, we have seen long-term clients like Tupperware, Akzo Nobel, Avnet, Teka and Acciona consistently trust our platform to operate as their PIM solution.

It’s an exciting time to join the company, with Sales Layer having been named G2’s leader for Commerce Products in the last Software Awards. Founded in 2013, Sales Layer is a fast-growing SaaS company that is disrupting the PIM and supply chain industry. We have recently secured $25m in Series B funding and have consistently been the top-rated PIM amongst customers on G2.

What will you be doing?

As part of a growing team, you will perform outbound sales activities to create and develop the sales funnel together with the team of SDRs and Account Executives. You will have a chance to interact with potential prospects from all around the world and directly contribute to the building of the team and its success.

  • Contacting potential clients through cold calls and emails.
  • Creating target prospects lists and penetrating key accounts.
  • Gathering relevant information to understand how prospects and their businesses work and how the PIM can meet their needs.
  • Identifying key players, researching and obtaining business requirements, and presenting solutions to begin the sales cycle.
  • Setting demos and appointments for the account executives when a lead reaches a qualified stage.
  • Ensuring successful follow-through of the sales cycle by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information in the CRM. Working with the account executives on closing deals.
  • Acting as an expert on Sales Layer offerings / solution and the industry.
  • Collaborating with sales and marketing team members on a strategic sales approach.
  • Pro-actively identifying ways of improving the products and services we deliver.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in outbound sales or marketing roles, preferably as a successful SDR in a SaaS company.
  • Bilingual fluency in a Nordic language (Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, or Finnish) and English is required.
  • Residency in Valencia, or availability to live in.
  • Excellent communication, listening and negotiation skills.
  • Experience using CRM software and cloud-based platforms preferred.
  • Organized, able to meet deadlines, work under pressure, and deliver on many things at once.
  • Ability to identify the pain points and provide the solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
