Junior Accountant

The objective of the role is to perform the posting of invoices and credit notes on a timely and efficient manner. Responsible for disputes management and vendor account reconciliation.

Accountabilities :

As a Junior Accountant, reporting to the Accounting Team Leader, you will :

• Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Help calculate and post manual journal entries, ensuring all entries are supported by appropriate documentation.
• Support monthly Balance Sheet Account reconciliations, including cash, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
• Assist with Inter-Company Reconciliations to maintain accuracy across various entities.
• Aid in managing Fixed Assets, including tracking acquisitions and depreciation.
• Collaborate with departments such as purchasing and sales to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate financial data.
• Support additional reporting requirements, including variance analysis and financial forecasts.
• Undertake ad-hoc duties as needed to assist the accounting team.
