At ING we are looking for an Accounting Expert

Your role and work environment :

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Accounting Expert to join our Accounting team within the Finance department.

Your key responsibilities :

• Provide accounting advice to the business on new products / services and their accounting impact.
• Manage recurrent accounting topics requiring written documentation (impairment assessments, provisions, etc.).
• Handle routine accounting tasks, including complex topics like IFRS 16, Macro CFH, and Macro FVH.
• Coordinate accounting projects or projects with accounting dependencies.
• Conduct recurrent reviews of product accounting treatments : revenue recognition, cost accounting, etc.
• Assess, develop, and maintain proper controls and robust documentation.
• Attend internal and external accounting meetings.
• Analyze reporting instructions from Group, IFRS standards, or new local regulations and their impact on ING's business.
• Collaborate with management accounting and financial reporting teams to ensure consistency in financial reporting and decision support.
