Role Purpose
The IT deployment lead will take the lead in delivering all key IT strategic new business wins as well as supporting key organic growth within the business
- Lead the IT elements of the due diligence process to validate the outlined IT Solution is an optimal fit for the business / customer
- Drive Standardisation of IT / Business delivery processes to enable a quicker and more effective project delivery in to the business
- Lead / Manage the deployment team to support the project implementations and ensure scope, time and project budgets are being met.
- Provide strategic IT account leadership / Thinking when working with the new customers to drive digital innovation
- Provide IT training and support for new starters joining the project and business.
- Lead best practice documentation and lesson learned for the projects to drive continuous improvement in to the IT team
- Support System & Process improvement with Integrated IT systems solutions, by gathering requirements, selecting suppliers and providing the business with potential solutions
- Responsible for supporting the Regional IT Business Partner and ensuring all IT services are delivered in line with the operational and IT scope of the projects and business.
- Coordinate with IT Suppliers and IT Project managers to ensure project scope , budgets , timelines and being met.
Responsibilities
Leading new LLP project implementations across EMEA RegionThis role will need to understand Supply chains end to end and know how to apply the digital solutions within the portfolio to meet the business challengesLead the IT delivery of Solution Validation and onward projects phases along side the IT Project managers and wider LLP IT OrganisationIT Strategy - Support line manager and wider IT / business organisation in development of the IT strategy and project portfolio in line with current and new customer needs. Engage with internal and external customers, ensuring robust IT solutions that will deliver both corporate, business unit and IT strategies and develope strong business cases for changeLead the implementation of all new business wins and organic business transformational agenda in line with the IT, business and product strategy.IT Change Management - support and manage all aspects of change and release management for IT systems within area of responsibility.Lead / Drive innovation using technology into the business to deliver efficiency and value from IT.Build a strong network of contacts within function, business, customer and regional DHL to ensure strong collaboration to deliver the right results and drive maximum efficiency from projectsInternal an External Customer Relationships - manage and co-ordinate relationships and communication with business stakeholders. Working with your network to support and help the business through the implementation of the IT strategy and operational account plansDevelop knowledge of all systems to support and drive best practice within operational processes of systemTraining and Documentation - define requirement for and then facilitate creation and maintenance of required IT documentation. Delivery of appropriate IT training to operational super usersEnsure that DHL IT Strategy and Governance is adhered to.Requirement for the job
