Do you have experience in SaaS as a Controller and / or FP&A? Do you want to enhance your career to take on a CFO role in the mid-run?

In this role you will take part in a high-growing B2C AI-based Multi-SaaS Company operating worldwide from Barcelona. You will be the key internal Finance contact working closely with Founders and Management by providing relevant insights, ensuring accuracy of financial data, planning, forecasting and analytics.

You will be trained in the field by a Senior external CFO to take on genuine responsibility and have a clear path toward a C-Level position.

Your mission in this role

You will join a highly experienced team to support the Finance function and help ensure smooth, effective financial operations aligned with the company’s needs. This is an ideal opportunity to learn the inner workings of a start-up and gain a 360-degree view of finance in a high-growth environment

What will you do day-to-day?

Manage all aspects of accounting and finance functions thoroughly, including month-end and year-end closing on a formerly and timely manner (including reconciliations, AR, AP, accruals, prepayments, GL,...).

Prepare and analyze financial statements, cashflow and management accounts thus ensuring accuracy and compliance. Manage Audit for year end financial statements review. 🔹 Prepare, challenge and explain accomplishment of budgets and forecasts in coordination with each Product owner and / or Department

Prepare and constantly update rolling forecasts for financial statements and cashflow and advance any risks associated with the outcome

Manage the payroll function working closely with HR and stakeholders

Define and assure the right policies and controls together with holistic Compliance at all levels.

Conduct business performance analysis to identify, investigate and understand operational Product and / or Department results, detect inefficiencies and recommend improvement opportunities.

Maintain the relationship with banks and other stakeholders meeting all requirements associated to those relationships.

Provide ad-hoc analysis and insights for any investment and calculation of expected financial return.

Provide relevant data and Review tax filings associated to the business

Tech-friendly to compile data from different sources, integrate and automate as much as possible considering the efficiency-profitability balance working closely with other departments

What do you need to succeed?

Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or Finance

4-5 years of experience as a Financial Controller and FP&A (as a whole)

Solid experience in SaaS Companies

Demonstrated ability to understand key drivers for the business and “get behind the numbers”.

Previous experience in Audit is a plus.

ERP agnostic and advanced Excel user.

Attention to detail and strong financial control. Proactive attitude adding value to the business.

The ability to adapt to new assignments and deadlines in a highly demanding and growing environment.

Fluent in English and Spanish
