The software quality assurance team at Nordex is responsible for the development, maintenance and operation of the QA environment, including automated testing of all software products developed by Nordex. This team ensures that all requirements resulting from software development or practical experience are taken into account in future development.

YOUR TASKS

• Functional safety is a fundamental aspect of wind turbine software; the Safety Software Quality Engineer (m / f / d) is responsible for the corresponding test routines.
• Creating and reviewing technical documentation and test specifications, particularly in the area of the Machinery Directive and ISO 13849-2.
• Carrying out software tests for quality assurance in the field of wind turbine automation technology and configuring and using real-time simulation systems for wind turbines.
• New and further development of the auto test system with regard to regression tests during the software release process for wind turbines.
• Automate tests with the help of a test sequencer (Exam MicroNova).
• Technical clarification and implementation of software specifications in the auto test system as well as creation of the associated software documentation.
• Close cooperation with various departments in an international environment.
