Your role

As an Application Security Engineer, you will safeguard our software products, collaborate with development teams, and design security frameworks. Your work will be crucial in ensuring our products' security and integrity, contributing to a more human healthcare experience.

Key responsibilities

Build a secure SDLC integrating security at every development stage.

Configure security tools to ensure comprehensive coverage.

Define security guidelines for applications to prevent attacks.

Consult on new products, including pen-testing, threat modeling, and secure design.

Develop vulnerability management systems to identify and mitigate threats.

Educate developers on security best practices to foster a security-first culture.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of application security, secure coding, and vulnerabilities.

Experience collaborating with product and development teams.

Automation skills, preferably with Python.

Experience with cloud-native and containerized environments (AWS / Azure, Docker, Kubernetes).

Hands-on security testing for server-side and client-side applications.

Knowledge of security standards like ISO 27001, NIST, SOC2, etc., is a plus.

Experience with AI security projects is a plus.

Excellent communication skills and experience working with distributed teams.
