Ready to redefine manufacturing? At Supernova, we’re revolutionizing the manufacturing landscape, developing an industrial ecosystem capable of manufacturing the impossible. To do so, we put the high-viscosity photopolymers in the center of our technology, paired with optimized manufacturing recipes. If you’re a seasoned engineer who thrives on transforming challenges into innovative processes, this is your opportunity to lead and shape the future of additive manufacturing.
Your Mission
As our Process Engineer, you will be the technical spearhead behind the development and optimization of post-processing recipes tailored for high-viscosity photopolymers. Your expertise will ensure that every printed part meets our uncompromising standards for quality, repeatability, and efficiency. Working at the intersection of materials science, engineering and manufacturing, you’ll transform raw innovation into scalable, cost-effective production solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, test, and refine robust post-processing protocols—including cleaning, curing, and finishing procedures—to elevate part quality and consistency.
As a member of the Engineering team, collaborate closely with other cross-functional R&D teams (i.e. Materials, Printing,...) to integrate post-processing steps seamlessly into the overall production workflow, aiming for complete automation.
Design experiments and leverage quantitative analysis to fine-tune process parameters, ensuring scalability and cost-effectiveness.
Develop detailed process documentation, maintain records of experimental results, and ensure adherence to industry standards and safety protocols.
About you
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or specialized experience in photopolymer processes will be considered an asset.
3+ years of industrial process development experience, preferably within additive manufacturing or photopolymer processing environments.
Demonstrated success in developing and optimizing processes and methodologies, with strong skills in experimental design, process validation, and data-driven decision making.
Exceptional analytical skills paired with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a dynamic, interdisciplinary team.
Proficiency in English with excellent technical writing and presentation skills.
