We are seeking a Legal Counsel – Commercial & Digital Law professional to provide strategic legal support across multiple regions.

Main Responsibilities

Providing high quality hands-on legal support with a business partner mindset to various stakeholders within our sales region.
Drafting, negotiation, and review of commercial agreements, including sales, professional service, distribution, agency, manufacturing, and supply agreements.
Providing legal advice on technology-related issues in three business segments : Digital Security, Financial Platforms, and Currency Technology.
Drafting clear and comprehensible memoranda on different legal matters and managing lawyers from other jurisdictions where appropriate;
Collaborating with the Global Legal Team;
Litigation support for legal claims, managing actual and threatened litigation on commercial claims as a plaintiff and defendant.
Monitoring and analyzing legislative developments in areas and jurisdictions of operations.
Maintaining records, controlling, and optimizing the workflow of legal documentation.

Your Profile

A commercial lawyer with at least 5 years of professional experience acquired in an international business group, preferably in an IT company.

Requirements

Graduated in law and Master's Degree in Digital Law and New Technologies from a Spanish or EU educational institution;

Proven experience in national and international contract law, especially in IT, intellectual property law with particular reference to software licenses and IT solutions / applications;

Knowledge on digital products and business models to serve customers in finance and mobile communication industries as well as on cybersecurity is required. Familiarity with emerging technologies such as IoT and their business application will be an advantage;

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written, in English, French, and Spanish;

Organized professional with entrepreneurial nature, highly motivated, curious, and eager to learn new things, particularly in the technological field;

Ability to work independently and in a multinational and multicultural environment;

Ability to adapt to changing environments; and

Critical thinking and problem-solving.
