The project!

As General Ledger Accounting Intern you will assist the team on tasks related to the preparation and reporting of the financial statements of the respective companies.

What will the role entail?

  • Supporting day-to-day accounting activities for our subsidiaries in Ireland, Spain, and the UK
  • Assisting with the preparation of VAT, Intrastat, and other tax-related reports
  • Helping with reconciliations of key General Ledger accounts
  • Contributing to the preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Assisting in compiling the Spanish Group Reporting pack
  • Supporting the development of statutory annual financial statements
  • Working alongside the team to meet internal reporting deadlines
  • Participating in ad hoc financial analyses and supporting various finance-related projects

  • Job Requirements :

  • University degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting or similar
  • Languages : high Level of Spanish and English (min. C1-B2) any other languages are a big plus.
  • IT Skills : Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar data analysis tools (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas). Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
