At Ad4Octogono we are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for identifying and solving domain-specific challenges and accountable for the successful implementation of the Continuous Testing strategy in collaboration with Testing Architects and Product Owners..

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform quality assurance testing to ensure products meet established quality standards.
  • Use testing tools such as XRAY, ALM, and Sourcelab for planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Follow and adapt internal quality procedures, standards, and specifications based on industry best practices and audit recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with company-wide testing quality standards and established control procedures (e.g., Global Test Scorecards).
  • Review and analyze quality metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and address deficiencies.
  • Work within Agile frameworks, using tools like Jira and Confluence for collaboration and workflow management.
  • Test and validate REST and HTTP APIs, ensuring correct use of verbs, codes, and headers.
  • Utilize Postman and Swagger for advanced testing and automation (e.g., automatic generation of DTOs and ServiceClients).
  • Review and ensure compliance with AA+ and AAA accessibility standards, referencing WCAG 2.1 and other applicable regulations (e.g., Section 508, ADA).
  • Use accessibility evaluation tools (e.g., WAVE, Developer Tools, Accessibility Inspector) and assistive technologies (e.g., VoiceOver, JAWS, Dragon Naturally Speaking).
  • Confirm and document detected issues, distinguishing between actual errors and false positives, and provide clear evidence of errors.

  • Requirements :

  • Proven experience in a Quality Control role and formal training in software testing.
  • Knowledge of testing tools such as XRAY, ALM, and Sourcelab.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP protocols, and related tools (Postman, Swagger).
  • Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and accessibility evaluation frameworks.
  • In-depth knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA standards and regulations related to digital accessibility (e.g., Section 508, ADA).
  • Experience with assistive technologies (e.g., VoiceOver, JAWS, Dragon Naturally Speaking, ZoomText).
  • Ability to define and adapt quality procedures based on industry standards.
  • Excellent analytical skills to review quality metrics and identify improvement opportunities.
  • English proficiency at a B2 level or higher.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Familiarity with accessibility and disability inclusion standards.
  • Experience in identifying and validating digital accessibility issues using tools and manual techniques.
