Tasks in the role

• Ensuring revenue is recognized in accordance with US GAAP and ASC 606
• Ensuring compliance with Semrush’s accounting policies and procedures
• Recommending and executing process improvements
• Acting as the first contact for revenue & AR questions
• Supervising the processing of orders, invoices, and cash receipts in Oracle
• Preparing revenue, deferred revenue, and other revenue-related journal entries
• Reconciling accounts receivable and deferred revenue monthly
• Assisting management by preparing monthly revenue-related reports
• Preparing ad-hoc reports, as needed, for various groups
• Providing US GAAP support to subsidiaries outside of the US
• Assisting with the automation of business processes and implementing new tools as needed to manage revenue transactions
• Acting as the point of contact for external auditors for revenue, deferred revenue, and AR-related transactions
