Api Technical Consultant

One of our international customers is in need of an API Technical Consultant for a 12-month contract role. This is a remote opportunity.

Required Skills and Expertise :

• SAP SD Expertise
• RESTful API Design : Deep understanding of REST principles, including HTTP verbs (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE, etc.), HTTP status codes, error handling, API versioning, and resource design.
• Authentication and Authorization Protocols : Experience implementing API security mechanisms such as OAuth 2.0, JWT (JSON Web Tokens), and API Keys. Knowledge of best practices for protecting sensitive data.
• Data Format Handling : Familiarity with data interchange formats like JSON, XML, and CSV. Ability to transform data between formats.
• API Development Tools : Experience with tools like Postman, Swagger, Insomnia, or similar.
• Integration Knowledge : Experience with event-driven architectures like Kafka or RabbitMQ, designing and developing microservices, and middleware platforms.
