PTC is looking for a Senior Sales License Compliance Specialist, reporting directly into the License Compliance Manager in Barcelona.
Your impact :
- Executing license usage assessments and advisory service program activities to gain a thorough understanding of a customer’s PTC Product usage and potential risks.
- Providing dedicated advisory assistance to strategic PTC customers and acting as Licensing Knowledge resource for PTC’s broader Sales organization.
- Deploying Software Asset Management tools on strategic customer premises and leveraging technical procedures to verify compliance with Licensing Basis rules and international legal frameworks.
- Actively building internal and external relationships by establishing trust through accurate knowledge sharing, technical licensing guidance, and transparent advisory service activities.
- Effectively managing expectations of stakeholders throughout project lifecycle and progressing engagements through active listening and persuasively articulating status and direction.
- Occasional travel to locations across Europe may be required.
Day‑To‑Day :
Understand the IT compliance challenges faced by strategic PTC customers; work with them to resolve difficulties and translate challenges into strategic opportunities.Provide technical and procedural advisory service support to customer sites and the broader PTC Sales ecosystem across a wide scope of PTC software.Timely accomplishment of project plan goals.Identify areas for improvement within the Product Development Teams.Prescribe and implement best‑practice software asset management (SAM) across PTC’s strategic customers to achieve high levels of software license awareness.Qualify potential customers’ engagements to determine the most effective strategy, scope, and approach for software license management optimization.Interpret license agreements and analyze transaction history.Assist with negotiation and drafting of settlements and contractual agreements with PTC customers.Preferred Skills and Knowledge :
Technical proficiency and IT infrastructure know‑how.Ability to interact diplomatically and professionally with internal and external customers.Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and proven ability to plan and execute effectively to meet business objectives.Legal knowledge and contract management experience is valued.Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, preferably in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a Law degree with demonstrable technical knowledge.Excellent written & oral communication & listening skills in English are mandatory . Fluency in Italian or French is valued.Seniority level
