System Administrator

We are looking for an experienced Linux / Windows System Administrator to join our infrastructure team supporting a key international client in the pharmaceutical sector . Reporting to the Senior Infrastructure Platform Engineering Lead , you will play a critical role in managing and developing core infrastructure platform services, ensuring the stability, security, and performance of business-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and maintain Windows Server infrastructure (AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies).
• Administer and optimize VMware vSphere and vCenter environments.
• Manage enterprise storage systems (SAN / NAS) including performance tuning and capacity planning.
• Maintain and test enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions (e.g., Veeam, Commvault).
• Automate tasks using PowerShell and other scripting tools.
• Provide escalation support for complex system issues, collaborating with vendors and internal teams.
• Implement and monitor system alerts to ensure infrastructure health and availability.
• Maintain infrastructure security and compliance , including patching, AV, and system hardening.
• Keep detailed infrastructure documentation and maintain the CMDB .
• Coordinate and execute infrastructure maintenance windows with minimal disruption.
